Joel was born with a hammer in hand. Maybe not literally, but as the eldest brother of 5 children, he could always be found assisting his father with home projects. Likely the catalyst for his ready-to-work spirit and desire to problems solve. Joel prides himself on being the one you call to have things done right.

After obtaining a business degree from Appalachian State, Joel and wife, Grace, moved to the coast. Joel started working for a premier residential construction company on Figure Eight Island. He worked his way up through various roles, eventually serving as a foreman, and gained a wealth of hands-on experience and technical knowledge. Throughout his career, Joel has worked on a wide range of projects, collaborating closely with architects, designers, and clients to bring their vision to life.
